I'd been chatting with a guy on SDC for a couple of weeks and was interested in meeting him. He only had a few pics on his profile, but he looked attractive. We planned an evening to meet for drinks, chat, and see if we had chemistry for "more".
When he walked into the bar, he looked about 10 years older than his pictures. His profile listed his age as 52, but while we were talking, he mentioned being 54. Ugh, quit catfishing and post recent pictures!!
The reason his profile pics don’t show him smiling is that he has dental issues. His teeth were brown around the gum line. Not sure if it was due to a hygiene issue or if something else was going on.
He wore a Vans t-shirt with jeans, both looked like they’d been worn for days. Not a turn on!
He told me allll about his 3 kids. The daughter making poor life choices with a boyfriend and ending up moving back home. Extensive and detailed stories about both sons and their drug use issues, rehab, and being in recovery homes now.
He had a general “woe is me” persona.
He asked me very few questions and cut me off repeatedly when I spoke. There was no sexual conversation.
When our drinks were almost finished, he asked me, “So, do you have room available in your stable?” I could have kissed the bartender for walking over to us at that moment, so I didn’t have to say, “Yes, but not for you!” 🤣 The guy said we were ready for the check. When the bartender walked away, I said, “It’s been a pleasure meeting you and chatting, but I don’t feel a sexual connection with you.” He paid the tab, got up, and said, “Well, have a good evening. I’m going to the bathroom.”
